District 84 Special Election set

Published by susan under Elections

Republicans continue to walk a fine line regarding the District 84 House seat that Carl Isett doesn’t want any more.

The good-haired Guv has now dodged accusations of his party wasting money on a special election in District 84 by waiting for the next uniform election date – which happens to be November 2nd.  All this maneuvering to gain 6 weeks’ worth of “seniority” for the follower Isett hand-picked from the tea-party tree.

Carol Morgan will use all of the seniority Perry cares to dish out to good advantage for West Texas when she and Joe Heflin head for Austin and the new Democratic administration takes office.
